Team “Perpetuum mobile – Institute for Youth and Community Development” from Banja Luka, our partner organization, has recently launched the action of signing the Declaration on the mandatory introduction of Program Y in education systems in all schools in BiH.
By acting responsibly towards ourselves and others through the call #ostaje(mo)kući (#stayathome), Pepretuum Mobile maintains a clear position that it continues to make strong efforts and to develop methodologies and practices that influence the importance of living healthy lifestyles. We operate in line with positive lifestyles towards young people and for young people – by developing and nurturing life skills that need to be verified through formal education – according to Perpetuum Mobile team.
At the recently organized Seventh Youth Work Conference – KORA 7 in February 2020, which brought together representatives of youth organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka, one segment was dedicated to the topic of healthy lifestyles. On that occasion they initiated a movement to advocate for the introduction of healthy lifestyles and life skills into formal education. All organizations clearly supported and expressed their desire to be more actively involved in the work of organizations around the Young Men Initiative, the first result of which was the Joint Declaration of Commitment to Healthy Lifestyles.
In order to make the most of the time of emergency, Prepetuum Mobile is working hard on obtaining the consent of partners and associates from BiH, so that they can take the initiative together to decision makers and continue to advocate for positive initiatives.

This is one of a series of initiatives being implemented by our partner organizations gathered around the Young Men Initiative that focuses on building a Healthy Lifestyles Movement that aims to bring together diverse voices of civil society, informal citizen groups, parents, teachers and other social actors to help jointly promote and advocate for violence prevention, gender equality, education on life skills and youth health in schools across the Balkans.
The movement-building process includes all partner organizations gathered around the Young Men Initiative program in Albania, BiH, Kosovo*, Serbia and Croatia, which are implementing the program in over 50 communities.
We want the Program Youth in all schools!
